"I am a mathematics teacher myself and I have seen how Katy's lessons are meticulously planned and well-resourced. Katy motivates my children and fosters a keen interest in their learning. She excels in scaffolding tasks when they are struggling as well as challenging them when are succeeding, making science enjoyable for them both."
"Katy is a patient, thoughtful and keen tutor. Her dedication and system of planning out sessions in advance and in detail to target weaknesses have allowed my son to achieve excellent grades for science at GCSE (Biology: 9, Chemistry: 9, Physics: 8). Her system maximises the academic potential of her students, while minimising stress for parents and pupils alike!"
"I got into the University I chose! That is all thanks to you and I will never forget that."
I have a First Class Master's degree in Chemistry and a Distinction in my Post Graduate Certification in Education in Secondary Combined Science: Chemistry.
I am available for tutoring sessions on weekdays between 8:30am-6:00pm.
Once you have booked your session, you will receive an invite via email to access the lesson. A typical lesson will begin with a starter activity, recapping what was covered in the previous session, followed by learning new content and then putting what you've learnt into practice. All lessons are recorded for safeguarding purposes and stored for a year before being deleted.
